About the event
The Ogdensburg History Museum is proud to present the Love Our Settlers Second Saturday Children’s Program, led by retired Kindergarten teacher Nancy Wilson Mashaw. This free program will take place on Saturday, February 8th at 11:30 am at the Ogdensburg History Museum, located at 206 Ford St. in Ogdensburg, NY.
The Love Our Settlers program will focus on the stories of immigrants who have made a significant impact on Ogdensburg. From businessmen like John Hannan, who arrived in Ogdensburg during the Potato Famine and went on to become a successful entrepreneur and mayor of the city, to Margaret Walsh Hannan, who was active in the Red Cross, caring for those ill with the flu during the Great Influenza Pandemic of 1918, the program will highlight the diverse and inspiring stories of these settlers.
