Warriors of La Presentation

1749. This text is aimed at the casual reader who is interested in an overview of the period, especially as it relates to the founding of Ogdensburg and St. Lawrence County. Warriors from Fort La Presentation had played roles in battles in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Oswego, Albany, Schnectady, Rome, Niagara and Lake George. The young George Washington was defeated twice by those who once lived at La Presentation and Benjamin Franklin wanted it destroyed.
