About the event
The Ogdensburg History Museum is excited to announce its upcoming Native American Children's Program on Saturday, November 9th at 11:30 am. The event will take place at the museum located at 206 Ford St and is free and open to the public.
Native American Heritage Month is observed in November to call attention to the culture, traditions, and achievements of the nation's original inhabitants and of their descendants. The official designation of November as National Native American Heritage Month was signed into law in 1990.
City Historian and retired teacher Julie Madlin will be leading the program, which is sure to be a fun and educational experience for children of all ages.
The program will include interactive activities, games, and crafts that will teach children about the history and traditions of Native Americans. There will be something for everyone to enjoy!
All children must be accompanied by an adult, and participants…
