About the event
It has been 158 years since Ogdensburg officially dropped the "h" from its name and incorporated as a city, and the Ogdensburg History Museum is throwing a party to celebrate! On Sunday, April 26th, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the museum will host a community birthday celebration at its 206 Ford St. location.
The event honors April 27, 1868—the day Ogdensburg officially transitioned from a village to a city. To mark the occasion, the museum will offer a fun-filled afternoon for residents of all ages.
Birthday Highlights:
Sweet Treats: Enjoy treats and refreshments to celebrate "The Maple City."
Kids' Games & Activities: Historic-themed games and a special "Search for the Missing H" scavenger hunt.
