About the event

On Thursday, March 12th at 7:00 PM, City Historian Julie Madlin will present "Grit and Ginger: Ogdensburg's Remarkable Women." This lecture brings to life the stories of five local legends—from the front lines of the suffrage movement to the cutting edge of modern biochemistry.

As a Museum Member, you enjoy these exclusive perks for the evening:

  • Early Access: Doors open early for members to enjoy a private sneak preview of our new Women’s Suffrage Exhibit before it opens to the general public.

  • Preferred Seating: We have reserved the best seats in the house for our members to ensure a front-row view of the presentation.

  • Refreshments: Enjoy a selection of complimentary snacks and drinks as you mingle with fellow history enthusiasts before the lecture begins.
