About the event

The Ogdensburg History Museum is pleased to announce a special event to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution. On Saturday, November 16th, the museum will be showing the classic film, Drums Along the Mohawk, followed by an ice cream social sponsored by Stewart's Shops.
The event will take place at the Ogdensburg History Museum, located at 206 Ford St. The ice cream social will begin at 6pm and the movie will be shown at 7:15pm. Admission to the event is free and open to the public.
Drums Along the Mohawk, released in 1939, is a historical drama set during the American Revolution. The film tells the story of a young couple, Gil and Lana Martin, who struggle to survive and protect their home in the Mohawk Valley during the war. The movie stars Henry Fonda and Claudette Colbert and was nominated for two Academy Awards.
