About the event
How did children help win a revolution? The Ogdensburg History Museum invites local families to step back in time on Saturday, April 11th at 11:30 am for a special hands-on look at life during the American Revolution.
Led by retired kindergarten teacher Nancy Wilson Mashaw, this month's program explores the daily lives of colonial children and the incredible true stories of teenage heroes like Sybil Ludington—the "female Paul Revere."
"This is a wonderful opportunity for children to connect with history by seeing it through the eyes of kids just like them," says Museum Director Julie Madlin.
The event is located at the museum at 206 Ford St. and is free and open to the public. To ensure a quality experience, space is limited to 25 children. Families are encouraged to secure their spot early by registering online.
